This policy explains what personal information Emergera LLC, a company registered in the State of Washington ("Emergera", "we") collects through emergera.ai, how we use it and the choices you have. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email, country, role, Python experience, partner code and anything you write in a form, when you register for a program or event, contact us, apply to partner or subscribe.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment, the amount and your email. We never see or store your full card details.
- Attribution information: the campaign link, partner code, referring page and approximate country you arrived from, so we can credit community partners and understand which outreach works.
- Learning records (enrolled learners): attendance, project submissions, assessment scores and certificates.
How we use it
- To deliver programs and events you register for, and to send the emails that go with them.
- To process payments and refunds.
- To credit community partners for registrations they referred.
- To send updates about new programs and events, if you subscribed. Every email lets you unsubscribe.
- To improve our programs and website.
Career pathway
We share a learner's Talent Profile with USM Business Systems only with that learner's explicit consent, given separately from registration.
Who we share it with
Service providers that run the site and programs for us: Cloudflare (hosting and data storage), Stripe (payments) and our email provider. They process data only on our instructions. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Registration and learning records are kept for as long as needed to deliver the program, issue credentials and meet legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those obligations.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it, by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live (for example California, the EU/UK or India), you may have additional rights under local law.
Cookies and storage
We use your browser's local storage to remember the campaign link or partner code you arrived with, so the right partner is credited. We do not use advertising cookies.
